Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and an SUV north of Saskatoon around 12:30 Friday afternoon.
It happened on the Warman overpass.
According to local RCMP and Warman Fire Chief Russ Austin, the SUV was travelling eastbound with seven people in it when it collided with a Volkswagen Beetle heading in the opposite direction.
Police say after the crash, the car rolled down the overpass. Three people inside were taken to hospital; two by Medavie ground ambulance, and one by STARS Air Ambulance. The extent of their injuries isn’t known.
Traffic was blocked in both directions on Highway 305 while emergency crews were on the scene, but the road was cleared about 3 p.m.
There’s no information yet on the cause of the crash.
