Saskatoon police believe they have solved a robbery spree involving gas station convenience stores across the city.
The six robberies at knifepoint happened over a 10-day period.
Between Oct. 17 and 26, police responded to robberies at gas station convenience stores in the 2700 block of Faithful Avenue (twice), the 400 block of Circle Drive East, the 1900 block of McKercher Drive, the 3300 block of Eighth Street East, and the 3900 block of Eighth Street East.
A 55-year-old man was identified and arrested last Wednesday. He’s facing six counts each of armed robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.
