Saskatoon police officers had to take cover Tuesday evening when someone shot at them with a pellet gun.
In a media release, police say officers responded just before 7 p.m., to a call about pellets being fired at a house in the 1300 block of Avenue D North.
As the officers investigated that alleged shooting, multiple pellets were fired at them. The shots missed, but the officers took cover.
They determined the shots were being fired from a second-floor window of a house on the same block. The officers eventually arrested a 57-year-old man and seized an air rifle with a telescopic scope.
The man is facing numerous firearms-related charges, as well as charges of assault with a weapon and mischief.
There weren’t any injuries reported.
