A 15-year-old girl is dead and a 16-year-old girl is in hospital after a single-vehicle crash Saturday near Invermay.
According to the RCMP, officers from the Wadena detachment were called at about 7:20 p.m., to the scene of a crash on Rural Road 617, approximately eight kilometres south of Invermay.
Officers determined an SUV went off the road and rolled. The passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The RCMP didn’t have an update on her condition.
The Wadena RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP traffic reconstructionist are investigating.
