The Saskatoon Public Library wants to make it easier for people to get their proof-of-vaccination records printed.
According to a statement on the library’s website, starting Monday, anyone who needs to print their COVID-19 vaccination record, or other COVID-related information, can do so free of charge. That’s also the day when in-person services will resume at all public libraries in the city.
According to the updated public health order that came into effect Friday, public libraries in Saskatchewan are now exempt from requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
Free printing won’t be limited to vaccination records. Patrons can also print out information on testing locations and hours, and vaccine clinics, locations and hours as well.
Employees will be available to help anyone requesting it.
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, there is a $20 fee for COVID-19 records only. Full immunization records are $25. The fees apply to anyone over the age of 16.
The Regina Public Library will also offer free printing services for anyone needing their COVID vaccination records.
