The Yorkton RCMP is looking for two inmates after three allegedly escaped custody.
On Monday, the RCMP received a complaint that three inmates of Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre had left a work site and couldn’t be found.
The inmates were last seen Monday around 3:30 in the afternoon on Second Avenue North in Yorkton.
Officers found one of escapees, but are now asking for help in finding the other two.
James Hadwen is 45 years old. He is around 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a t-shirt.
Hadwen supposedly has ties to Alberta.
Steven Mahingen is 34 years old and is roughly 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved sweater. He has ties to Kawacatoose First Nation.
No details were given on what led to these inmates getting away.
