The police investigation into a suspicious package in downtown Saskatoon has determined the package wasn’t suspicious after all.
Just before noon on Tuesday, police received a call about a package located in a building in the 200 block of 21st Street East near Second Avenue South.
Patrol officers and members of the Explosive Disposal Unit responded. After investigating, officers determined the package — a toolbox — didn’t contain anything hazardous or dangerous.
Traffic restrictions in the area have been lifted.
