The Humboldt RCMP got a significant amount of crystal meth off the streets of Bruno on Tuesday.
The Mounties said in a release Friday that officers were patrolling in the town about 35 kilometres northwest of Humboldt at around 1:30 p.m., when they found a “suspicious parked vehicle.”
When they walked up to it, they noticed a weapon in plain sight.
From there, they searched the vehicle and found 1.16 kilograms (or about 2.5 pounds) of meth. There was also 37.9 grams of gamma hydroxybutyrate, items used for drug trafficking, ammunition, brass knuckles and pepper spray.
The four people in the vehicle were arrested at the scene. All of them are facing charges of drug possession with intent of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
