Four men are dead after collisions on Saskatchewan highways over the weekend.
In a media release Monday, the RCMP said three men were killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday on Highway 6 about 10 kilometres north of Watson.
The Mounties said they responded at about 12:30 a.m., to a crash between a minivan and a truck towing a boat.
A 43-year-old man from Spalding was the driver and sole occupant of the minivan. A 42-year-old man from Melfort was driving the truck with one male passenger, a 35-year-old from Pickerel Lake.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, a 25-year-old man from the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 3 near Crutwell.
At around 4:50 p.m., officers from the Prince Albert RCMP detachment responded to a collision between a car and a truck towing a boat.
The driver of the car died at the scene, while the man driving the truck was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His two passengers, both youths, weren’t hurt.
Crutwell is about 25 kilometres west of Prince Albert.
On Friday, officers from the Nipawin detachment investigated a two-vehicle collision near Snowden, a town about 45 kilometres northwest of Nipawin.
At about 11:45 a.m., officers got a call about a crash on Highway 55 between a van and a semi.
The man driving the van was taken to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the semi weren’t seriously injured.
