8:30 –The Government of Saskatchewan announced Friday new measures to help combat the rising COVID-19 cases in the province — but those steps don’t include new public health orders such as mandatory masking or vaccination incentives. Premier Moe said Friday that while he would like to see each eligible person in Saskatchewan get vaccinated, vaccinations will remain a choice. Premier Moe joins Gormley to discuss the new measures announced Friday and the latest in the fight against COVID-19 in the province.

Casciaro is a co-author of the new book, “Power For All: How It Really Works and Why It’s Everyone’s Business,” which debunks the fundamental power dynamics at play in businesses and in the economy at-large. It was recently selected for The Financial Times’ best business books of August edition, Fortune’s 10 new books to read in August, as well as Adam Grant’s influential best books list. Casciaro and her co-author recently had their Op-Ed published in the Washington Post: No, the pandemic hasn’t given workers more power. But that could change.
