It could have been a very tragic morning in Saskatchewan.
A collision between a school bus and a semi on Highway 7 near Delisle on Monday morning sent two people to hospital — the drivers of the vehicles.
Luckily, the collision took place around 7 a.m., with no children on the bus yet.
On its Facebook page, the Delisle and District Fire Department described the call as “the worst possible page,” adding that “thank the Lord there were no children aboard.”
According to the post, the drivers were taken to hospital, and they’re both expected to be OK.
Westbound traffic is currently being rerouted around the collision site. It occurred at the intersection of the highway and Durham Road, around five kilometres northeast of Delisle.
