10:00 – There is a shortage of workers in Saskatchewan. Hanif Hemani, Managing Director of Express Employment Professionals (a Saskatoon recruitment agency) says there are a number of reasons for the labour crunch including lingering fears of COVID-19. Another reason is that government COVID-19 income support payments and unemployment benefits have allowed job seekers to delay returning to work or to hold out for more attractive job offers. Hemani joins Gormley to discuss all of the reasons he believes are behind the worker shortages.

11:00 – More businesses and organizations are requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and Saskatchewan’s privacy commissioner is urging those implementing requirements to make sure they’ve checked with a lawyer and have their legal ducks in a row. 12:00 – According to new research from the University of Saskatchewan, recovery from a concussion can take much longer than many people think. Dr. Changiz Taghibiglou, a co-reseracher on the study, joins John to discuss what the research has found on concussion recovery times.
