A 46-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after she was shot Wednesday night on Idylwyld Drive North.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers responded just before 11 p.m., to a business for a report of an injured person.
When they arrived, a woman told them she had been walking on Idylwyld between Minto Place and Stanley Place when a man approached her and asked for money. When she refused, the man shot her.
The suspect was dressed in dark clothing, was wearing a hat and was carrying a backpack.
