Police believe they have caught a suspect in a Saskatoon murder.
According to a release Thursday, an arrest has been made in connection to the July murder in the 1800 block of Avenue B North.
The discovery of a man’s body in a home was determined to be the city’s fifth murder of 2021.
Saskatoon police said both their Major Crime Section and the Saskatchewan RCMP arrested a woman earlier Thursday in Jans Bay.
The woman, who was not named by police, is facing a second-degree murder charge and is to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Friday.
