A section of Highway 7 near the Alberta border is reopened after a serious crash.
Kindersley RCMP said it happened approximately 8 kilometres east of Alsask around 6:45 a.m when an RV and a car collided. Both vehicles caught fire.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old man from Saskatoon, was declared dead at the scene. His family has been notified.
The driver of the RV was hurt, but the injuries were not life-threatening.
The highway was closed in both directions and traffic was diverted for about seven hours to conduct the initial investigation.
An investigation is ongoing by Kindersley RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstruction Unit officers.
