One of two suspicious death incidents have come back from the Coroner’s Service — and has been deemed a homicide.
According to a Tuesday release from the Saskatoon Police Service, the deceased individual found unresponsive Sunday in a local skate park has been upgraded from suspicious to a homicide. The cause of the death will not be released.
However, police did release both the name and age of the victim: 39-year-old Kelly Dean Quewazance.
The investigation into the second suspicious death to occur Sunday is still ongoing, with support from the Chief Coroner.
In that incident, a woman’s body was found at a home on the 1200 block of College Drive near Munroe Avenue North.
