A man is dead after a highway collision between a semi and a car.
The crash occurred about two miles west of Carmel, Sask. on Highway 5. Humboldt RCMP, Humboldt EMS and fire services from Humboldt and Bruno responded to the incident around 6 p.m.
The driver of the car, a Saskatoon man, was pronounced dead on site. The semi driver was not injured.
Humboldt RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Carmel is located about 18 kilometres from Humboldt and about 100 km from Saskatoon.
