It took nearly two months, but a pair has been arrested in White Fox following an alleged break and enter at the community school.
According to RCMP, members from the Nipawin and Smeaton detachments responded to a report of a break and enter at the school on June 23.
During the break and enter, two “touch-screen electronic devices” — as described by police — were taken reported missing from the school.
Police continued their investigations into the incident, conducting a search warrant Monday in White Fox on the 400 block of Second Avenue West.
There, they recovered the devices.
Two unnamed suspects — a 22-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man — were charged with possession of stolen property, along with break and enter. They will appear in Nipawin Provincial Court on Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.
White Fox is located 14 kilometres northwest of Nipawin.
