A man charged in a 2020 homicide has been arrested and returned to Saskatoon after attempting to cross the border into the United States.
The man has been wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred last year in the 200 Block of Slimmon Road.
He arrived in Saskatoon yesterday after his January attempt to cross the border. He appeared in court Wednesday morning on charges of second-degree murder.
Saskatoon police are thanking the numerous agencies that helped to return the man to Canada, including the Canadian Border Services Agency, RCMP Air Services and Provost, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice and U.S. authorities.
