8:30 – Premier Scott Moe unveiled the province’s new strategy to get first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine into arms, which includes pop-up clinics and express drive-through lanes, but doesn’t offer the prize incentives the NDP has called for. The Province also updated the rules around self-isolation for those who are fully vaccinated, and Premier Moe called for a “comprehensive plan for cross-border travel” from the federal government before the premiers meet with Prime Minister Trudeau Thursday to discuss the issue. Moe joins Gormley to discuss these latest developments in Saskatchewan’s fight against COVID-19.

According to a new survey by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, 49% of respondents believe July 11 is the right time to lift all restrictions, while 24% believe that’s too early and 16% feel it’s too late. Meanwhile, only 47% of those surveyed expect their business to fully recover to pre-pandemic levels before the end of the year. Chamber CEO Steve McLellan joins Gormley to tell us more.
