The Saskatoon Police Service is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman whom investigators believe was the driver in a fatal hit-and-run collision on May 10.
An arrest warrant for failing to remain at the scene of an accident has been issued for 36-year-old Chasity Erin Kyplain.
Anyone with information on Kyplain’s whereabouts is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
On May 17, police issued a release seeking information about the 2007 blue Jeep Compass that was involved in the crash. They said Wednesday the search is continuing for that vehicle.
At 9:15 p.m. on May 10, police received a call about a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that had occurred in the 3200 block of 33rd Street.
Officers located an injured woman at the scene. Medavie Health Services and the Saskatoon Fire Department performed CPR, but the woman died of her injuries.
