After some tense moments Sunday evening, a suspicious package has been deemed ‘not dangerous.’
At 5:18 p.m., Saskatoon police released that members were on scene of a suspicious package. At that time, the public was also asked to stay away from the alley in the 2500 block of Eastview.
The release also indicated that residents in the area were notified of the incident.
Police sent out an updated release at 8:04 p.m., saying the scene had been cleared.
The suspicious package was examined by the Explosive Device Unit and deemed not to be dangerous.
