The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Saskatoon has closed after supplies ran out over the weekend.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) announced the temporary closure shortly before 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The drive-through clinic at Prairieland Park became the second in the province to shut down after the Regina clinic exhausted its supplies on Friday.
That site may be closed until early May, barring a new supply of doses.
The SHA did not give a timeline for the Saskatoon clinic, only saying “immunization clinics will reopen when additional allotments of vaccine arrive in the province” in a release.
The walk-in and drive-through sites in Prince Albert, North Battleford and Lloydminster remain open for people 48 to 54 years of age.
