TORONTO — The Toronto Raptors will keep forward Freddie Gillespie around longer.
Toronto signed Gillespie to a second 10-day contract Sunday.
The six-foot-nine, 245-pound player from Saint Paul, Minn., averaged 5.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and just under 16 minutes of court time in five games with the Raptors.
His shooting percentage was .619 going 13-for-21 from the floor.
Before signing with Toronto on April 8, Gillespie averaged 10.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 15 games with the Memphis Hustle in the NBA G League.
He shot 57 per cent from the field and recorded six double-doubles.
