Today is the day Saskatchewan campers can map out their plans for summer.
Starting at 7 a.m., reservations open for nightly campsites at provincial parks starting with Blackstrap, Pike Lake, Battlefords and Narrow Hills.
Other provincial parks become available for booking on:
“I would say the demand was exceptionally high,” said Robin Campese, executive director of Saskatchewan Parks, following the opening of seasonal site bookings on Monday.
“I think the pandemic has brought out a keener interest in the outdoors with many people, so that’s being reflected.”
SaskParks launched a new website for reservations this year.
Campese recommends getting familiar with the site before trying to book.
