ERZURUM, Turkey — Atiba Hutchinson set up fellow Canadian Cyle Larin for the first goal and Besiktas went on to defeat BB Erzurumspor 4-2 in Turkish SuperLig play Sunday.
Hutchinson charged towards the Erzurumspor goal and found Larin just inside the penalty box. Larin then curled a perfect shot into the top corner of the goal over the outstretched hand of goalkeeper Jakub Szumski in the ninth minute.
The 25-year-old from Brampton, Ont., is tied for second in SuperLig scoring with 15 goals.
Beskitas tops the Turkish standings at 22-6-4.
