A 56-year-old man has been charged with the sexual assault of a child in Saskatoon.
Police said Friday that Ricky Davis was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit. He’s to appear in court Monday.
In January, police received a report that a man had sexually assaulted a minor on numerous occasions between February of 2012 and December of 2017. The child was between the ages of five and nine when the alleged offences occurred.
Police said Davis and the victim were known to each other.
According to police, investigators are concerned there may be other victims in the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300.
