CALGARY — Joel Teasdale and Joseph Blandisi each scored a pair of goals in a 4-1 Laval Rocket victory over the Stockton Heat at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary Sunday afternoon.
Both teams were tied 1-1 after the opening 20 minutes. Blandisi opened the scoring with his fifth goal of the season. Stockton replied with a tying goal from Michael Stone, his second of the year.
Following a scoreless second period, the Rocket scored three times in the third period en route to victory. Teasdale scored both of his goals in the third, including an empty-net goal with six seconds left to play.
Blandisi and Teasdale each had an assist in the win as well.
Rocket goalie Cayden Primeau made 19 saves on 20 shots (11-4-1). Laval has now won five consecutive games, including a three-game sweep of the Heat.
Heat goalie Garret Sparks made 29 saves on 31 shots (8-5-1).
