The Toronto Raptors have had an update to their remaining schedule.
The NBA announced on Wednesday that two of Toronto’s games have been rescheduled.
The Raptors’ game against the Chicago Bulls in Tampa, Fla., originally scheduled for Feb. 28 will now be played April 8.
And the Toronto at Cleveland Cavaliers game on April 9 has been pushed back a day to April 10.
The Raptors-Bulls game was postponed due to what the league said at the time was “positive test results and ongoing contact tracing within the Raptors organization.”
Starters Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby, plus Malachi Flynn and Patrick McCaw all missed game action, along with head coach Nick Nurse and most of his coaching staff, due to health and safety protocols following the announcement.
VanVleet, who returned to action Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons, confirmed on Tuesday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Toronto is calling Tampa’s Amalie Arena home this season due to Canada’s border restrictions and COVID-19 health protocols in Ontario.
