Two people were hurt and a dog was killed in a fire in the RM of Corman Park on Monday.
According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, a call came in from the RCMP at about 1:10 p.m., reporting a fire on Dalmeny Road.
When firefighters arrived, they found a garage on fire and the flames were moving toward the attached house. Firefighters got the blaze under control just after 2 p.m.
Two people who were inside the house were taken to hospital with minor injuries. A dog died, but a cat was resuscitated by firefighters with the use of a pet mask.
The fire department said damage to the garage, vehicles and contents is estimated to be $200,000.
