A 25-year-old Saskatoon woman charged with sexual offences against a two-year-old girl and a four-year-old girl has been granted bail.
She was given a release order Thursday afternoon, according to a Saskatoon Provincial Court clerk.
The woman is facing charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, making and distributing child pornography, invitation to sexual touching, bestiality and attempting to commit a sexual offence against a child.
Saskatoon police say they received a report on Jan. 11 about a child being sexually assaulted and images being shared on social media.
The woman can’t be named because of a publication ban to protect the identity of the children involved.
The woman must abide by several conditions, including living at a court-approved residence, not having any contact with the alleged victims and not possessing any device including a cellphone or computer that could give her access to the internet.
She is scheduled to be back in court March 24. That’s when the Crown is expected to decide how to proceed in the case.
