SHERBROOKE, Que. — Yaroslav Likhachev scored twice as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defeated the Sherbrooke Phoenix 8-2 in Sherbrooke on Saturday afternoon.
Jonathan Fauchon, Benjamin Corbeil, Mathias Laferriere, Luke Henman, Charles Boutin and Mikael Denis also scored for the Armada.
Anthony Munroe-Boucher and Stephane Jr Huard scored for the Phoenix.
The Armada’s Nicholas Blagden was given a match penalty for fighting at 3:40 of the first period.
Felix-Anthony Ethier turned aside 34 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand. Jasmin Simon combined with Samuel Hlavaj for 39 saves for Sherbrooke.
Blainville-Boisbriand outshot Sherbrooke 47 to 36.
The Phoenix (1-10-0-1) went 1-for-3 on the power play. The Armada (13-2-0-0) went 2-for-7 with the man advantage.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — The Shawinigan Cataractes beat the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 3-1 in Shawinigan on Saturday afternoon. William Veillette struck the game winning goal for the Cataractes at 19:51 of the second period. Olivier Nadeau and Lorenzo Canonica also scored for the Cataractes. Gabriel Belley-Pelletier scored for the Drakkar.

QUEBEC CITY, Que. — Adam Raska scored a hat trick as the Rimouski Oceanic downed the Québec Remparts 3-2 in Quebec on Saturday afternoon. Raska scored the game winning power play goal for the Oceanic at 1:41 of overtime. Thomas Caron and James Malatesta scored for the Remparts.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — The Drummondville Voltigeurs sunk the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 3-0 in Rouyn-Noranda on Saturday afternoon. William Dufour, Charles-Antoine Dumont and Michael Little also scored for the Voltigeurs.

CHARLOTTETOWN — The Cape Breton Eagles defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 5-4 in Charlottetown on Saturday evening. Dawson Stairs scored the game winning goal for the Eagles at 14:02 of the third period. Liam Kidney, Emile Hegarty-Aubin, Nathan Larose and Matthew MacDonald also scored for the Eagles. Bailey Peach, Cedric Desruisseaux (2 goals) and Thomas Casey scored for the Islanders.
