Police and fire investigators are looking into a fatal house fire that claimed a life Tuesday evening.
Fire crews were called just after 8 p.m. to a house fire in the 200 block of Avenue N South.
Witnesses reported flames on the main floor and smoke pouring from the second storey.
Upon searching the home, crews found an unconscious person who subsequently was pronounced dead.
Police have not identified the victim.
Arson investigators and the Saskatoon police major crimes and forensic identification units are working on the investigation.
