Saskatoon Police have arrested one man after a lengthy standoff downtown Saturday.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man and charged him with two counts of break and enter at a building on the 300 block of 4th Ave South near the Broadway Bridge.
More charges are pending once the investigation is complete.
Police first issued a media release Saturday morning just after 7 a.m. saying officers were at the scene of a barricaded person.
The Tactical Support Unit, crisis negotiators and patrol officer took the man into custody shortly before 1 p.m. He was taken to hospital to be assessed.
