The Saskatoon Police Service has determined foul play was not involved in two recent deaths in the city.
On Saturday at about 8 p.m., officers responded to a call of a body that had been located by members of the public near Avenue Q South and 18th Street West.
Investigators now say the death of the 34-year-old woman was not suspicious. The woman’s next of kin have been notified, but her identity won’t be released.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service continues to investigate the woman’s death, as well as the sudden death of a man Jan. 3 in the 2800 block of Lorne Avenue.
Police said Wednesday the Major Crime Section’s investigation into the man’s death had concluded foul play wasn’t a factor.
