A 64-year-old woman from the RM of Wilton is dead after a three-vehicle crash south of Lloydminster on Thursday.
The Saskatchewan RCMP said officers from the Maidstone detachment responded around 7 p.m., to a call of a collision on Highway 17 near the community of Lone Rock.
The Mounties’ investigation determined two southbound vans had collided. One of the vans then collided with a northbound semi.
The woman driving that van was taken to hospital, where she died. The drivers of the semi and the other van weren’t injured.
The RCMP is continuing to investigate the crash, but officers don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
