Saskatoon police say the case of a woman who has been missing since the fall is now a murder investigation.
Megan Gallagher, 30, was last seen on video surveillance taken at a convenience store on Diefenbaker Drive on Sept. 20. She has not been in touch with her family since Sept. 16.
In a release, police say the Major Crime Section has been working with the Missing Persons Detail and has talked with several people in regards to Gallagher’s disappearance.
Police say there are still people they are looking to speak with.
Police ask anyone who had contact with Gallagher — whether in person or by phone, text or social media — between Sept. 19 and Sept. 30 to call them at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Gallagher was last seen wearing a Cabella’s hoodie, black pants and a light blue shirt underneath the hoodie. She also has several tattoos:
- Half sleeve tattoo with a large owl from shoulder to elbow
- Tattoo of a cross behind her ear
- Rainbow-coloured feather on her ankle
- The names “Jake” and “Adam” beneath her arm
- #13 on her hand
