The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday night on Eighth Street East.
According to police, officers responded at about 11:15 p.m., to a house in the 800 block of Sixth Street East for a report of an injured person.
When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot. He subsequently was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Further investigation determined the man had been shot while in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Eighth Street East.
Police say the incident wasn’t random in nature.
