Saskatoon’s fire investigator says a blaze in a commercial building Tuesday night caused $125,000 in damage.
According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, crews responded to a building in the 2400 block of Dudley Street after a call was received from an alarm monitoring company at 5:50 p.m.
The first firefighters to arrive on the scene saw smoke and flames coming from the building.
Crews went to work containing the fire to an area inside the structure and eventually extinguished the flames. A search of the building determined no one was inside.
There weren’t any injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
