A wood burning stove is to blame for causing a fire in the Silverspring neighbourhood Sunday afternoon.
Members of the Saskatoon Fire Department were called just after 2:00 p.m. to the 200 block of Rever Road after the home owner reported a fire inside a wall.
In a news release, the fire department said crews arrived to find flames shooting from two rear windows.
Fire crews began by applying water through windows then entered the homes and attacked the source the fire.
A search of the home confirmed all residents had evacuated.
A fire investigator determined the blaze started in a wall above a wood stove.
Damage is estimated at $275,000.00.
