A 48-year-old man from Watrous has been charged with impaired driving after a multi-vehicle collision that shut down a section of Circle Drive for nearly seven hours.
Police say it happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
A police collision analyst determined a northbound car on Circle Drive rear-ended another car before colliding with a pickup truck that was also northbound on the ramp from Taylor Street.
The force of the collision caused both cars to roll onto their roofs and one to end up in the southbound lanes.
A 17-year-old girl from the car that was rear-ended was treated at the scene, while the 45-year-old man driving the pickup was not hurt.
The Watrous man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say further charges are possible.
Traffic restrictions were lifted shortly before 3:30 a.m.
