A 37-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle on the Big River First Nation early Sunday.
According to the Big River RCMP, officers responded Sunday at about 12:30 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found band security members providing medical attention to the man. Paramedics arrived and declared the man dead.
The 56-year-old driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has ordered an autopsy. The RCMP are continuing to investigate.
The Big River First Nation is about 135 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
