Berkly Catton, Brayden Yager, Caden Price and Tanner Howe were all named.
Commissioner Randy Ambrosie deserves a raise from the CFL’s board of governors.
Ambrosie has been taking the bullets and protecting the nine governors from what is clearly going on behind the scenes.
Ambrosie can’t answer a straight question anymore and he can’t even give fans a straight answer on whether there is or isn’t going to be a 2021 season.
The reason for that is there hasn’t been a clear directive from the board of governors, which pulls the strings on the commissioner.
If Ambrosie doesn’t have a clear direction from his bosses, how can he relay that to the fans?
So next up to face the questions should be governors.
If they’re dragging their feet on committing to a 2021 season, it should be them explaining it to the fans.
Although that’s why they hire commissioners in the CFL. The governors have an automatic fall guy to take the heat when it’s the CFL board that should face the biggest criticism.
