BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — The Rimouski Oceanic defeated the Baie-Comeau Drakkar for the second consecutive night with a 4-2 victory in Baie-Comeau Sunday afternoon.
Rimouski edged Baie-Comeau 3-2 Saturday. Since losing their first two games against the Drakkar in late October, the Oceanic has now won three straight games against them.
Rimouski’s William Dumoulin scored the game winning power play goal for the Oceanic at 16:36 of the second period. Mikael Martel, Ludovic Soucy and Samy Paré also scored for the Oceanic.
Xavier Fortin and Nathan Légaré scored for the Drakkar.
Matthew Dunsmoor turned aside 23 shots for Rimouski. Ventsislav Shingarov saved 16 shots for Baie-Comeau.
Baie-Comeau outshot Rimouski 25-20.
The Drakkar (3-6-0) went 1-for-7 on the power play. The Oceanic (3-5-2) went 4-for-8 with the man advantage.
