It will be a snowy Halloween for trick-or-treaters in northeast Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Melfort, Nipawin, Carrot River, Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Pelican Narrows, Cumberland House and Creighton.
The weather agency says a low pressure system moving across the Prairies will bring heavy snow to the region starting Friday afternoon through Saturday.
Between 10 to 20 centimetres are expected.
Drivers are reminded to check highway conditions before travelling as visibility may be reduced at times in heavy snow.
