Owners of a home in the Fairhaven neighbourhood were awoken in the middle of the night to find an intruder in their house.
Police were called around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday to the 100 block of Stone Terrace.
The owners told police an unknown individual was in their home.
By the time officers arrived the suspect had fled with some items.
In a news release, police say they believe the intruder entered the home through a basement window.
The home owners were not hurt during the incident.
