In a letter to parents, the Saskatchewan Health Authority said the COVID-19 outbreak at Saskatoon’s Holy Cross High School is now declared over.
The outbreak was declared on Oct. 4.
As is outlined in the provincial government’s Safe Schools Plan: “If two individuals within a school test positive for COVID-19, an outbreak is declared for that school.”
The school has remained open throughout the outbreak.
The letter says: “We remind parents and guardians of students, as well as any staff, visitors and volunteers to continue monitoring for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 as part of their routine daily practice. Please remember to complete a daily assessment for symptoms each day prior to attending school.”
