Two teens have been charged in an incident involving a firearm and a robbery.
Saskatoon police say shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday, they were called to the 100 block of Dickey Crescent.
A man was approached by a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, one of which was brandishing a firearm and took the victims backpack. The two teens fled but were quickly taken into custody with help from the Canine Unit.
During the arrest, one of the teens received minor injuries, consistent with a dog bite and was checked by paramedics before being transported to police detention.
Officers recovered an airsoft pistol and the victim was not injured.
The two boys are charged with robbery and other firearm-related offences and will see a Justice of the Peace Sunday.
