The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says there is a potential exposure to COVID-19 on a Saskatoon Transit route.
The SHA says a person or persons who was likely infectious rode Saskatoon Transit route #45 (Arbor Creek, near 1902 Kenderdine Road to 300 block of 5th Avenue North) Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and route #45 (300 block of 5th Avenue North to Arbor Creek, near Kenderdine Road) from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Sept. 28 to Oct. 1.
The City of Saskatoon issued a release saying the person was wearing a mask while on the bus.
Public health officials are advising people who were on the bus on the specified dates and times to self-monitor for 14 days, and if you develop symptoms of COVID-19, immediately self-isolate and call HealthLine 811, your doctor or nurse practitioner to arrange for testing.
