Five people will challenge Charlie Clark for mayor. Eight are running in the wide open Ward 3 race with Ann Iwanchuk not seeking re-election.
Ward 4 will be acclaimed after nobody came forward to challenge incumbent Troy Davies.
Candidates have until 4 p.m. on Thursday to withdraw their nomination before the ballot is set.
